kira phoenix k’inan is a photographer, painter, sculptor, writer and filmmaker, who is currently studying ba fine art at central st martins, london. kira’s work deals with temporality, dislocation, relocation, recycling, process of making, responding to space with site-specific pieces and the documentation of these happenings. she takes objects or materials from their intended use and through different processes she creates a new context for the works. over the past year she has created an artist network called vannya, which includes working with fellow artists to organise events in spaces around london.

the original image i sent you last night will be cut-up into 16 pieces. each piece will need to be printed onto a4 paper, making 16 a4 images. these images are to be placed on the floor and the audience will be invited to create collages (on the floor) using the images. each collage will need to be photographed. i would suggest using a disposable camera to be sent to me. to send any images please use this e-mail: kiraphoenix@yahoo.co.uk
